What we do

A full fabrication shop, plus a rig that comes to you

Most metal problems in South Florida come down to two things: salt water and deferred maintenance. We handle both ends — new fabrication drawn up in the shop, and on-site cutting, welding and reinstallation when the part cannot leave the dock, the roof or the loading bay.

Every job starts with an in-person or photo assessment, and finishes with a written scope so you know exactly what alloy, what finish and what warranty you are paying for. No verbal guesses, no surprise change orders.

Mobile service

We bring the shop to the slip

Our service truck carries a 300-amp engine-driven welder, spool gun, TIG setup, plasma cutter, air-arc gouging, magnetic drill and a full stock of 316 stainless and 6061 aluminum. That means the majority of dockside repairs are finished the same visit instead of being pulled, hauled and returned a week later.

How it works

Four steps, no mystery pricing

Talk it through

Call, email or send photos with a tape measure in frame. We ask about alloy, finish, load and where the part lives — salt exposure changes the answer.

Written estimate

You get an itemized PDF: material, labor hours, finish, lead time and warranty. Valid 30 days. Free, and there is no obligation.

Fabricate & fit

Cut, form and weld in the shop, then dry-fit on site before final welding where the install allows. Photos sent at each milestone.

Finish & sign-off

Passivation, polishing, primer or powder coat, then a walkthrough. We do not invoice until you have inspected the work.

Client feedback

What owners and contractors say

★★★★★

“Our bow rail was cracked two days before a charter. Jerry came to the slip at 6am, cut out the bad section and TIG'd in new 316 tube. The polish matches the original run perfectly.”

Marcus D.
54' Sportfish owner, Bahia Mar
★★★★★

“We use Trident for stair stringers and lintels on every Broward remodel now. Weld maps come signed, inspections pass first time, and they never hold up the schedule.”

Alina P.
Project manager, general contractor
★★★★★

“Replaced 140 feet of corroded balcony railing at our building. Clean work, tidy site, residents barely noticed. The written scope was exactly what we were billed.”

Ray K.
HOA board, Coral Ridge

Common questions

Quick answers before you call

The full list — alloys, permits, lead times, warranty — is on the FAQ page.

Do you charge for estimates?
No. Written estimates are free for jobs inside Broward County, whether we come out or work from your photos and measurements.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Broward County registered, $2,000,000 general liability and workers' compensation. Certificates are emailed on request or filed directly with your marina or building.
How fast can you start?
Mobile repairs are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours. Shop fabrication runs one to three weeks depending on material lead time. Emergencies are handled same day.
Do you work on aluminum boats and pontoons?
Yes. Marine aluminum (5052, 5086, 6061) is one of our core alloys, TIG or pulse MIG depending on thickness and location.
